Calcutta's largest vibecoding hackathon: a 13-year-old carried the winning team

The newly founded Calcutta AI Club hosted the city's largest ever Vibecoder's Hackathon, drawing 60 participants — more than half had never coded before, ranging from teenagers to middle-aged corporates.

The rules were simple: build a working app with real-world use cases in 6 hours. Outputs included AI-integrated educational apps, industrial ERPs, a PCOS tracking app and a recipe-sharing app. The winning team was carried by a 13-year-old prodigy.
