Samsung allocates 70% of memory capacity through 2031 to LTAs, plans conversion

Reports indicate Samsung has allocated approximately 70% of memory production capacity through 2031 via Long Term Agreements (LTAs). Additionally, Samsung DS is considering converting the Pyeongtaek S5 foundry line to memory capacity as early as next year. SK Hynix is also exploring further expansion in Yongin and Honam, and a potential JV fab in Japan.
