South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT has confirmed the final operators for the AI for All project, selecting three consortia: SK Telecom, Kakao, and KT. The project will begin beta testing from September to October and launch officially by year-end, offering free and unlimited generative AI services to all citizens. The three operators will receive 512 NVIDIA B200 GPUs from the government this year, and part of the operational costs will be covered by the government budget starting next year. The planned AI will directly handle reservations, taxes, education, healthcare, finance, and government administrative applications, gradually becoming a national AI agent. The government aims to bring tens of millions of citizens into the local AI ecosystem by providing compute, funding, and access.
