Gemini User Overlap with ChatGPT Jumps to 26.1% by July 2026

Data from Similarweb indicates that Gemini is increasingly entering the daily toolkit of ChatGPT users. In January 2025, only 9.2% of ChatGPT visitors also used Gemini; by July 2026, this figure rose to 26.1%. Conversely, the percentage of Gemini visitors also using ChatGPT dropped from 48% to 40.4%. The user overlap between the two platforms is rapidly converging.
