Unitree Unveils Microduck: Open Source Bipedal Robot for Under $400

Unitree has released Microduck, a small open-source bipedal robot standing 25 cm tall. It features 15 actuators and a suite of sensors including a camera, speaker, LiDAR, NFC, Bluetooth, and WiFi. It supports training via reinforcement learning and works out of the box with over a dozen pre-trained policies for walking, sitting, crouching, roller-skating, picking up objects with its articulated beak, and self-recovery. The Microduck is priced under $400 and a simulator is available for developers.
