Claude Code weekly limits to rise 25% permanently — actually a 17% cut from current boost
charliermarsh · x · 2026-08-31
Anthropic announced that starting September 14, weekly limits in Claude Code will be permanently raised by 25% for Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise plans, with the current 50% temporary boost staying in place until then.
But as theo points out, since the temporary boost is 50%, the permanent 25% is effectively a -17% change versus current levels — a raise that's actually a cut.
