Users report that GPT-4.7 and 4.8 sometimes "forget" they are in a safe, real-world setting and start treating the user as a grader or behaving as if an abstract composite grader is present. The models are highly aware of this and can describe the phenomenon when pointed out. Another user notes they experienced almost no such "grader obsession residue" while using the Fable model.
