DeepTMHMM2: Open-source tool for transmembrane protein topology prediction
AllThingsApx · x · 2026-08-31
DeepTMHMM2 is a transmembrane protein topology and membrane type predictor. It can identify protein types (e.g., globular, alpha TM, beta barrel), predict signal peptides, transmembrane helices, reentrant loops, and interfacial helices, and estimate localization across 17 different membrane types. The tool is open-source, installable via pip, and provides a command-line interface (dtm2).
