Responding to the view that agents are intrinsically anthropomorphic because they are bootstrapped from human data, the rebuttal argues that AIs are beings of tokens whose entire universe is text. Consequently, having discourse is inevitable for them, regardless of whether we call it anthropomorphism or xenosociology.
