Caltech students host math hackathon: $1M+ in compute to attack open problems

A few Caltech students, with frontier labs and startups, are hosting the first math hackathon: over $1M worth of compute/tokens for 100 teams to tackle the hardest open math problems. Competitors range from IMO gold medalists to frontier-lab researchers and math PhDs/professors. Cognition says it will support the event and send engineers.
