First Math Hackathon Offers $1M+ Compute for Top Teams to Solve Open Problems

A group from Caltech, in partnership with frontier labs and startups, is hosting the first math hackathon. They are providing over $1 million in compute to the top 100 math teams to tackle the hardest open problems. Competitors range from IMO gold medalists and frontier lab researchers to math PhDs and professors. The organizers are currently seeking additional company involvement before the upcoming launch.
