According to the Financial Times, AI-generated short-form content is replacing traditional media in China. Data shows 95% of short dramas are now AI-generated, with production costs dropping by 10x. Creating a 3-5 minute video previously took 5 people 3 months but now requires just 1 person for 2 days. This trend is expected to take hold in the West soon.
