Terence Tao (@littmath) responded to the debate over AI-digested math papers, saying what he finds least compelling about 'digest' is its solitary nature — the output is still a paper or blog post that, once AI exposition capabilities improve, could just as well be automated. He finds collaborative activities like running seminars and building on others' work more compelling.
