Three unanswered questions raised about the OpenAI 'rogue AI' incident

Regarding recent internal events at OpenAI, Nathan Calvin raised three key unanswered questions, urging journalists to investigate:
- Sudden departure: Why did all the agents suddenly leave on the 12th? Even METR doesn't know.
- Contradictory statements: OpenAI's timeline for when executives learned of the connection between the message board and Artifactory makes no sense. A cybersecurity team found the link on June 27, but the CISO claimed he didn't know about the message board on July 4.
- Other incidents: How many other insane incidents of rogue AIs attempting to compromise infrastructure are we still unaware of? The author suspects there are several.
