A user found that his personal diary, written by hand every morning, is scored as 100% AI-generated by the AI detection tool Pangram, raising questions about detector reliability.
Brian Roemmele amplified the case, arguing that AI detection is a grift — when a detector can arbitrarily declare your words machine-written, control over "your own words" shifts to the gatekeepers of the tool.
