Runway enterprise business doubles, NRR tops 300%

Runway's enterprise business has doubled over the past year, with Net Revenue Retention (NRR) climbing above 300%, according to CRO Sean Holcombe. An unnamed Fortune 20 customer increased usage seventeenfold; named clients include Amazon, Microsoft, Allstate, Adobe, and Robinhood. Europe accounts for over 20% of the enterprise base with 50% subscription sales growth, while Japan leads in Asia. Holcombe argues that generative video models are commoditizing, shifting competition to product quality, delivery efficiency, and enterprise features like IP indemnification and no-training-on-customer-data guarantees. Upcoming bets include a Runway Agent for end-to-end execution and a media model router integrating third-party systems like Seedance, Kling, and Veo.
