Anthropic released a research preview of the Model Hardware Standard (MHS), a set of standardized drivers designed to let AI agents discover and control physical devices like microscopes and robot arms. MHS provides a common interface and data format for devices to communicate over a network without bespoke integration code, streamlining scientific workflows.
