CoolFly's flying skateboard actually ships: stand-on eVTOL, learnable in 10 minutes

CoolFly's flying skateboard is actually shipping. Unlike seated, cockpit-equipped personal eVTOLs requiring a pilot's licence, it's a platform you stand on: four ducted propulsion units in petal-like sections, eight rotors total, and a self-developed NA80 flight controller running dual-redundant architecture with three inertial measurement units per unit.
The control scheme is the interesting part: high-precision sensors track the combined center of gravity of rider and machine, adjusting rotor thrust as you lean; steering is a nudge on a stick, takeoff a button press. CoolFly says most people learn it in about 10 minutes, roughly like a self-balancing scooter.
The paperwork matters too: China's revised Civil Aviation Law took effect July 1, giving the low-altitude economy legal standing — making this more than a stunt.
