An AMA survey report indicates that 81% of physicians use augmented intelligence (AI) tools, primarily to summarize medical research, create discharge instructions, and document visits. This rate is more than double the figure from 2023. AMA CEO noted that AI has quickly become part of everyday medical practice, with physicians seeing promise in supporting decisions and reducing admin burden.
