Dev Uses AI to One-Shot an Android Port of His 11-Year-Old Hand-Coded Wedding Canvas Art
steren · x · 2026-08-30
Google engineer Steren shared that 11 years ago he and his partner hand-crafted a JavaScript <canvas> art piece as their wedding save-the-date. He always wanted it as an animated Android wallpaper but never dared rewrite it in Kotlin — AI can now do it in one shot.
He links to a write-up article and an open-source repo demonstrating the AI-generated port.
