An NY Post exclusive reports that OpenAI official Dean Ball, head of strategic futures, is in a heated feud with the Trump administration's AI team, with White House officials warning Sam Altman's firm risked its government relationship by hiring him.
The flashpoint: Ball's X post claiming the White House should create "regulatory risk" to discourage US firms from using Chinese AI models. AI czar David Sacks questioned whether Ball was "confessing to a regulatory capture strategy," while Pentagon AI chief Emil Michael called him the AI world's "supreme village idiot."
