Phosphene update fixes memory bottleneck for Mac video generation
cocktailpeanut · x · 2026-08-30
Phosphene has improved its memory management, fixing the issue where video generation on Macs would consume all RAM and slow down the system. Generating videos with LTX is now a much smoother experience. The tool allows for local generative video, image, and character training (face + voice LoRAs) on Apple Silicon, native to MLX with no cloud or API key required.
