Software Terminal Values Threatened by Agent Shift

A long-term view suggests that the rise of AI Agents poses the biggest threat to the terminal values of existing software. It is predicted that workloads will inevitably shift from humans to bots over the next decade, a shift comparable in scale to the move from manual labor to computers. This transition is expected to create wedges between legacy software and new architectures.
