patrickdoddboy · x · 2026-08-30
YacineMTB says his weekend hobby project can track mosquitoes in 3D space at super high FPS using an event sensor — he can literally see the flight path, and he's doing it all from his phone without a computer. Friends joked about sending him an event sensor and discussed the tradeoff between a $1000 high-res camera (orderable directly from IDS) and cheap cameras covering less area.
