Tired of ad-heavy mobile games on road trips, the author used Claude to create "Glovebox", a mini-arcade with 12 ad-free, tracking-free games.

Feature Creep: Starting as a simple collection, it ballooned to include a claw machine with 514 collectible friends (shinies, holographics, legendaries) and a cozy pond game with its own 514-creature collection and explorable map.
Scale: It now features 108 ponds, 10 lakes with unique music, secret lantern-gated areas, and a full underground cave world that doubles the play area, totaling 1,542 collectibles across three dex systems.
Aesthetic: All collectibles are "janky" SVGs; the author refuses to fix them, finding their roughness cute and funnier.
