In the AI era, the core competency shifts from execution to the quality of decision-making. Previously, subordinates did the work; now, AI does the work, both based on given directions. Thus, the correctness of the direction is crucial. Additionally, feedback mechanisms are key: tasks like programming can get direct feedback via automated tests, while tasks like writing require human feedback to help the AI correct course and improve quality.
