Sony and Warner Sue Anthropic, Accusing Claude Training of 'Massive' IP Theft

Sony Music and Warner Music have sued Anthropic and CEO Dario Amodei, alleging copyright infringement in Claude's training. They call it 'one of the largest and most blatant ongoing thefts of intellectual property in history,' citing thousands of songs including 'Eye of the Tiger' and 'All I Want for Christmas Is You'.
