Vjeux · x · 2026-08-29
Christoph Nakazawa released Joymap v5.0.0, a gamepad input library. The update unifies the Controller API, drastically reduces memory usage, and fixes long-standing issues. Nakazawa credits the massive improvements (15 bugs fixed, 10x memory reduction, 5x speed boost) to OpenAI Codex. This results in more precise and faster gamepad input in the game Athena Crisis.
