LoRA Dataset Studio Released: All-in-One Open Source Local LoRA Training Workflow
Ill-Ant-9489 · reddit · 2026-08-29
LoRA Dataset Studio is a free, open-source, self-hosted application designed to manage the entire LoRA training pipeline.
Key Features:
- Dataset Construction: Ingest images from various generation engines (e.g., Nano Banana Pro, OpenRouter) or local folders. It filters for duplicates, blur, and aesthetics without modifying original files.
- Image Management & Captioning: Includes tools for cropping, watermark removal, and OCR-based subtitle removal. Supports auto-captioning via JoyCaption or local Ollama, with identity-leak checks.
- Training & Testing: Orchestrates ai-toolkit for local or cloud (vast.ai, RunPod) training with presets and preflight checks. The built-in Test Studio generates fixed-seed grids and multi-LoRA stacks, using Wilson ranking to help select the best checkpoint.
- Seamless Integration: Integrates directly with local ComfyUI for inference. Trained LoRAs can be deployed to ComfyUI or exported in standard formats.
