Pollen Robotics, a Hugging Face subsidiary, released the Microduck, a 25cm-tall robot duck priced at $399. It serves as an affordable testbed for developers to learn hardware AI and reinforcement learning. The robot features an open-source stack that covers control, simulation, RL training, and sim-to-real deployment, allowing skills to be trained in a simulator and transferred to the physical device.
