A team of scientists used AI to design a new CAR-T cancer therapy in just a matter of months. In preclinical testing, it outperformed a leading therapy currently used for patients.
CAR-T therapy reprograms a patient's own immune cells to hunt cancer. Designing one normally takes years and is enormously expensive. The difference lies in the data the AI learned from: not just published papers, but hundreds of thousands of data points from in-house wetlab runs, including real experimental data on what didn't work. The goal is to build superintelligence that accelerates the path from idea to therapy.
