Dactyl reveals its inner workings: engine development is highly automated using a fleet of agents. These agents use Apple SDK artifacts to build an API reference, render scenes in a booted iOS simulator, and diff the engine's output against a ground truth pixel by pixel. When a new iOS ships, the system re-renders the source of truth against the new simulator to ensure compatibility.
