AgentConnect launches as open-source, provider-neutral multi-agent alternative to Claude Tag

AgentConnect is an open-source, self-hosted multi-agent collaboration tool positioned as an alternative to Claude Tag. Its core idea is provider neutrality: you can bring ACP-compatible agents like Claude Code, Codex, and DeepSeek into the tools teams already use — Slack, Telegram, Discord, GitHub, and GitLab — assigning each one the role it handles best to build an "AI team".
Commentator rohanpaulai argues the harder multi-agent problem is shared context, not parallel execution, and AgentConnect offers a more flexible foundation than Claude Tag on exactly that front.
