Humanoid Robots Beat 5 Human Records Fully Autonomously at Chinese Games

Five human records were broken fully autonomously at the recent World Humanoid Robot Games in China. Across 51 events, Agibot's wheeled Genie G2 dominated task-based events, while X-Humanoid's Tiangong Ultra excelled in athletics. Unitree, last year's standout, saw a poor performance. A major shift from last year was the requirement for full autonomy in most events. While bots currently max out at a 16kg lift and occasional failures, the 100m dash time has improved significantly from 21.5s, signaling rapid progress toward superhuman physicality and autonomy.
