GLM-5.3 Launches on Together AI with High Reasoning Efficiency and Lower Cost
togethercompute · x · 2026-08-29
Together AI has launched GLM-5.3 on day one. Built upon an extended post-training of the GLM-5.2 base, it delivers stronger performance in coding and long-horizon agent tasks.
- Performance & Cost: It nearly matches Fable 5 across benchmarks but costs only a fraction per task.
- Reasoning Efficiency: Tests suggest the reasoningeffort="high" mode offers excellent value, achieving 32% accuracy on 50k tokens, while max mode hits 34% on 77k tokens.
- Token Efficiency: GLM-5.3 is highly token-efficient, with the max mode being significantly more usable than it was for the GLM-5.3 Flash variant.
