Atomic Agent boosts GLM 5.3 performance for just $0.77 extra

Atomic Agent, a model-agnostic agent layer, significantly enhances model capabilities by managing the execution loop, feeding back failures, and preserving state. In tests involving tasks like a teddy bear falling apart, the raw GLM 5.3 API used 543k tokens ($2.39), while adding Atomic Agent increased usage to 1.09m tokens but only raised the total cost to $3.16. This demonstrates that the agent framework (harness) often determines actual intelligence more than the model itself.
