Skild AI unveils S1, a robot foundation model that learns 10-minute tasks from one video

Skild AI has introduced S1, a robot foundation model built around in-context learning: from a single video prompt and without any fine-tuning, it can perform 10-minute-long tasks it has never seen before, operating in real time. Researchers note that in-context learning is one of the most striking emergent behaviors of large-scale training — and the same magic now appears to be showing up in robotics.
