Perplexity tops search index, leading at all compute levels

Perplexity Search has taken the top spots on the Artificial Analysis Search Index, with all three context size variants leading the leaderboard.
- Methodology: All variants were tested using the same model (GPT-5.6 Luna at medium reasoning) running inside Stirrup, an open-source agent harness, changing only the search provider.
- Key Results: Perplexity Search (medium) scored 80, surpassing the previous leader and performing best regardless of competitors' compute levels.
