Fable model makes frequent errors, self-checking detects anomalies

Developer Steve Yegge reports that the Fable model is making an astounding number of mistakes across all sessions. While the system's built-in "bullshit detectors" are catching and backpedaling on these errors, the model itself is admitting "Honest read: I was wrong a bunch" in every session. The root cause of this behavioral anomaly remains unknown.
