Tiny 2.4M param image generation model runs on RP2350 microcontroller
cpldcpu · reddit · 2026-08-29
A developer implemented a tiny Latent Flow Transformer (2.4-4M parameters, int8 quantized) on an RP2350 microcontroller. It generates 128x128 face images in 20 seconds and supports CFG. The inference engine streams weights via DMA and uses ReLU² activation for sparsity to skip calculations. This is an interesting demonstration of running generative models on extremely constrained hardware.
