Fast Hands: Local AI agent execution layer with checkpoints and human intervention
tomaszteee · reddit · 2026-08-29
A developer released the open-source project Fast Hands, a local, model-agnostic MCP (Model Context Protocol) execution layer. It supports persistent PowerShell execution, durable checkpoints in multi-step runs, pause/emergency stop, operator messages to interrupt workflows, and revise + resume capabilities. It also integrates local web research, YouTube transcripts, and optional Windows UI automation, supporting Windows, Linux, and macOS.
