A burrito-wholesale chef self-onboards onto an agent bot: "OpenClaw is Android, @bot is Mac"

altryne recounts onboarding his friend Michael — a chef running a wholesale burrito business — onto AI agents. He manually set up OpenClaw, then Hermes, and Michael even bought a Mac mini, but it was a constant struggle requiring lots of support. Last week, after just hearing about @bot, Michael onboarded himself and is off to the races.
His analogy: OpenClaw and Hermes are like Android — powerful, infinitely configurable; @bot is like Mac — restricted, opinionated, and just works.
