Google open-sources TimesFM for zero-shot forecasting of trends
mdancho84 · x · 2026-08-28
Google Research has quietly open-sourced TimesFM, a time-series foundation model pre-trained on 100B real-world data points. It performs zero-shot forecasting without fine-tuning and often outperforms supervised models trained on specific data. Licensed under Apache 2.0, it runs locally and can predict sales, prices, traffic, and more.
