GLM-5.3 Released: 50% Coding Gain, Emergent Cyber Capabilities
jacek2023 · reddit · 2026-08-28
Based on the same model as GLM-5.2, GLM-5.3 gains come entirely from post-training. It achieves a 50% improvement on the internal Z.ai Code Bench and open-source SOTA on public benchmarks like Terminal Bench 3.0. Unexpectedly, scaling post-training led to emergent cyber capabilities, with the model doubling GLM-5.2's performance on exploitation benchmarks.
