Web Draw: MCP server reads pages as text instead of screenshots
ahstanin · reddit · 2026-08-28
Web Draw is a browser extension plus an MCP server that renders the visible DOM as text with handles (e.g., "e12 textbox") for agents, eliminating coordinate guessing. It supports batched actions (e.g., filling forms in one call) and explicitly reports failures. Limits include inability to see canvas apps or divs without ARIA roles. Free, local-only (127.0.0.1), and no telemetry.
