Rockstar released an extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI, and the visuals look incredible. Investor firstadopter uses the moment to push back on Demis Hassabis's thesis that AI will disrupt game development: hand-crafted games won't be disrupted for a long time, and investors who sold game stocks on that thesis were wrong.
He concedes AI will help with tedious work and art assets, but argues nothing beats human product taste, which matters above all in the creativity and entertainment business.
