Guide: Using Claude Design Inside Claude Code for rapid iteration
tomcrawshaw01 · x · 2026-08-28
This article introduces the workflow combining Claude Design with Claude Code. Traditional design workflows involve awkward back-and-forth between ideas, explanations, screenshots, and implementation. Claude Design bridges this gap by providing a chat interface alongside a working design canvas.
Users describe what they want, Claude generates the design, and refinement happens via conversation, comments, or direct canvas edits. The major opportunity lies in connecting it to Claude Code, allowing developers to pull in real design systems and codebases from the terminal to establish visual direction and implementation simultaneously.
