Tencent's Hunyuan Hy4 joins Alibaba & ByteDance in crossing coding usability threshold

With the release of Hunyuan Hy4 preview, Tencent, Alibaba, and ByteDance have all crossed the usability threshold for coding and agent capabilities (around Opus 4.8 level). The author argues that at this stage, improving harnesses, skills, and agent collaboration methods may yield greater efficiency gains than marginal model capability improvements.
