Turing Institute researchers, in collaboration with the Met Office, ran a hackathon challenging participants to temporally downscale outputs from FastNet, their ML weather prediction model, from 6- to 1-hourly forecasts. Researcher Manvendra Janmaijaya presented this work at the Machine Learning for Earth System Modelling workshop at CESOC in Germany.
