Bindu Reddy calls DeepSeek Flash an excellent model, arguing it's one tweak away from becoming the most used model in the world. Its weakness: it's over-eager with tool calling and can spin a lot — it simply needs to think a bit more before acting. Fixing this, she claims, would help it achieve Opus-class performance.
